Recently a lot of big name video games have been bringing in a survive as many rounds as you can game type. If you don’t know what I am talking about I will give you a couple of examples. The most popular would have to be the Nazi Zombies from Call of Duty: World at War. Then shortly afterward Halo 3 came out with Halo 3: ODST which contained the Firefight game type. Both were essentially the same and both were the highlight of their respective games, at least for me.

That being said, I think it would be only fair to point out the flash game. Flash games have been employing this game type for years and years. This article focuses on one of the greats. Knight Elite has been a pleasant surprise among the internet. You play as a knight defending the castle from the waves attacking orcs.

Along with the rounds comes the time in between rounds where you get to learn new abilities and buy new weapons. This probably doesn’t come as a very big surprise, but the best twist on the game is the buildings. It takes the form of a more real time strategy game where you must build your buildings to advance your weaponry and army. This is one of the nice touches that makes it a game that will hook you and keep you playing hours on end.

Gears of War is a masterpiece. The game has unmatched game play when it comes to console gaming. Gears of War is visually stunning and beautiful which a lot of first-person shooters lack these days. The attention to detail to each characters face and personality is also something unseen in modern day gaming and each character has its own individual purpose in the game. There’s a nice balance in the game play which requires tactics and stealth as well as variety in weapons. Every weapon has its own use and purpose in the game. The sound effects and the soundtrack are nothing less than masterpiece that brings Gears of War to another level and more importantly brings the game to life. The dialog shows a lighter side to the game as humor is important. Gears of War is not among the top pc war games because the online interaction is so important to this games’ success.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is simply a must buy for any shooter fan. The single player campaign is an amazing action packed thrill ride although it is quite short, but the new multiplayer more than makes up for the short campaign. Also there is a new co-op game mode called spec ops and there is a large variety of missions including hostage rescues, sniper missions and wave defense. The sound design is excellent with realistic weapon and vehicle sounds and a fabulous musical score. The graphics also deserve a mention too, with realistic rain and water effects and for the most part, extremely detailed environments. Great looking and detailed character models as well as awesome character animations and more destructible objects all combine to provide an extremely intense and immersive gaming experience, however the real fun in this game lies in the online competitive gaming experience. A reward system keeps players coming back for more and more while giving you the satisfaction of earning new ranks and unlocking guns and abilities. COD: Modern Warfare 2 is overall an amazing experience.

Remember when we mentioned that Ono-san and Harada-san were teasing fans at EVO? Well, it was done for a good reason. The two popular franchises have crossed over to create the two most epic fighting game ever. One will be developed by Capcom and the other by Namco.We loved Super Street Fighter IV and we loved Tekken 6. Seems appropriate that the two best games in the genre will collide.

Capcom will be releasing assets soon so we’ll have more details once the SSFIV panel at Comic-Con is over. For right now though, it seems that Street Fighter vs Tekken will be 2v2 and not just 1v1 combat.

Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker is an amazing game, for being portable. I am so amazed of what the developers can do with the PSP having such limited power, in fact if this game was in a game console and cost 60 dollars I would buy it in a heart beat. The Game play, graphics, sound and a well put together story in the palm of your hands is what you are going to get with this game. Unlike its previous game Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops the controls have been dramatically improved, so my guess is that the developers definitely learned from their previous mistakes.

Even though the PSP has only one analog stick, the developers found a way of making the controls easy to handle, you can pick this game up without worrying if that you might not like the controls and camera angles because they have all been fixed to perfection. If you have played portable ops, you may remember the feature that allows you to recruit soldiers, well they added that feature to Peace walker also, but it has been improved and more streamlined, therefore more enjoyable. One of my favorite parts of the game is that it allows you to modify and make your weapons more powerful, accurate and faster.

So you chase after his Son Viktor. His Son commits suicide after a chase. The death of Viktor brings Imran Zakhaev out of hiding to take Revenge now he is after a Russian Nuke Site. I like the ending part of the game when you have to shoot Imran Zakhaev with a pistol.

In Modern Warfare 2 General Shepherd was in command of the Marine force that was decimated by Al-Asad’s bomb. He believes the world was indifferent to the loss, and hatches a plan to make the US a superpower once again, with himself as Supreme Commander.

He sends your character (PFC Allen) to infiltrate the Russian Ultranationalists (now under Makarov’s command), but Shepherd secretly breaks your cover as Borodin. Makarov shoots you dead so others can tie your American body to the airport shooting, giving Russia a reason to invade the US.
